Week of November 2nd through November 6th
The students did a nice job reading the novel HOLES. Everyone seemed to enjoy the story and the movie. We are currently finishing up our project depicting major events and memorable quotations from the book. You are welcome to stop by the Media Center after school if you would like to view it. Thanks again to those who brought or sent in supplies for this. Special thanks to Mrs. Rolle, who made a trip to the craft store for us.

Story preview and vocabulary worksheet and definitions are due by Monday, Nov. 2nd.

The students receive a grade on their report card for their participation in the AR program. Please encourage them to read for at least 15 minutes every night. They should also be keeping a log of their progress and their Reading Practice Quizzes. If they keep up with this, they will be eligible for prizes as well as gaining skills that will last them a lifetime.
