Students learn and experience the six major literary genres:

Homework is a nightly experience. Short and long term projects will determine the amount of time that will be needed to meet goals:

  • 6th Grade: 15-20 minutes
  • 7th Grade: 30 minutes
  • 8th Grade: 30 minutes

[edit] Grading Policy

The grading scale for the Archdiocese of Miami is used:

  • A: 93-100%
  • B: 85-92%
  • C: 77-84%

Assessments are necessary to monitor student progress and to validate curriculum goals.
